Hello Friends,
As the days get shorter and the kids go back to school, we’re left with the wonderful lingering bits of summer. Golden, warm, ready to be savored, just like a good Chardonnay.
What will you do with your last few rays of bright sun, warm evenings, and the glow from so many days of fun?
At BOXT, we've been talking about pairings and not just the wine kind. With the waning golden days of summer upon us, here are some of the things we're talking about around the winery.
Jordy, our head of customer experience and resident book worm, is raving about Michael Callahan’s The Lost Letters From Martha’s Vineyard, and Alison Espach’s The Wedding People.
We've got lots of hosting going on and this time of year a long dinner with good friends to celebrate, replete with outdoor candles, string lights and a great playlist is the perfect way to wind down the summer vibe and welcome fall.
As for me, I am going to sneak in a last minute weekend away to somewhere quiet and peaceful where I can see the stars and get some great food.
I'll be bringing my new favorite, early-fall sweater, because while I love summer, I cannot wait for cooler nights and my San Francisco wardrobe to make an appearance.
Of course, I'll always have my favorite glass of wine with me to tap into, and we're always happy to send you some too.
Here’s to the last few days of summer, Cheers!
Sarah
